Registering a death:

The death should be registered in the district where the person died. Once you have been advised that the certificate for registration is ready for collection, we will then make an appointment with the Registrar for you to register the death. We advise that you purchase several copies of the death certificate. Before going to register, make a note of how many organisations you will have to inform about the death, as they will each want to see a certified copy of the death certificate. Should you require additional certificates at a later date the price will increase.
