Financial assistance:
Depending on your financial circumstances, the next-of-kin may be entitled to receive help with the cost of the funeral from the Social Fund. Claims must be made within three months of death. The Department for Work & Pensions will assist you with this along with the Citizens' Advice Bureau. Further information may be obtained from the government website: www.gov.uk/funeral-payments
Payment options:
Payment for a funeral can be made by cheque, BACS, cash or by all major debit or credit cards. Alternatively, should you be interested in pre-paying for a funeral please see the information on Golden Charter Funeral Plans.
